Garden in Mr. Sommers 4th hour MN History class

In Mr. Sommers 4th hour, Minnesota History class we are going to put together a garden. the garden is going to near to the flagpole and the parking lot. Cooking/Exercise Video For MN History 5th Hour

In Mr Sommers 5Th hour, we are going to make a cooking/exercise video to promote health.  It will have scenes going back and forth between healthy, easy to cook meals, and good ways to get exercise. California Conference

In the month of April, myself and three other students from Anthony Middle School went to California for a service learning experience. Activity Day!

At our school anthony we had an amazing day called activity day!!!!! You could see movies, do outside sports and the most rated the dance! the theme was neon and we played all kinds of music! Such a blast! :) Read full article »

National Service Learning Conference

In 2010 four 6th grade students represented Anthony at the national Service Learning Conference in San Jose, CA. Along with 1,000 other youth from all over the country, students learned about how to implement service learning in their schools and communities, and even had a chance to present Anthony's projects during a Showcase roundtable. In 2011 we'll be headed to Atlanta!

Organic Recycling

We're ROTing! Visit our lunchroom and see organic recycling in action. Student helpers rotate throughout the year, emphasizing the importance of taking ownership and making a difference right here in our school.
